GALICIAN OCTOPUSS

E-mail Print

Also known as Galician octopus, is the traditional way of preparing the octopus in the typical Galician (Northwest of Spain) fairs and pilgrimages.
Its simple preparation, consists of the following steps:

*
Put a pot with enough water to cover the octopus, a high heat until it begins to boil.

* Once the water is boiling, add the octopus and hope to return to a boil with octopus inside.

* By breaking a boil again, we must lower the heat and let it simmer for 20-25 min.

* After that, turn off the heat, cover the pan and let rest another 20-25 min.

* Finally only require cutting the octopus, add paprika and pepper to taste, salt and olive oil.

Of course for this to work correctly, the octopus must be of quality as that DISCEFA, provides its customers and being so, just enjoy!

Good appetite!
